SUICIDE PREVENTION INITIATIVE
You can help us address the tragic reality of 22 veteran suicides per day in our nation.
Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS) is a major contributing factor. Assistance for PTS includes counseling, group activities, service animals, and timely support. Here’s how we are fighting to end veteran suicide:
Many organizations already provide mental health services to veterans and their families. We use a vetting process to identify credible sources and invite Florida programs to join us in better serving our veteran community. Organizations must have a proven track record with veterans, result-based references, and values aligned with our mission.
PROJECT: VetRelief will establish a statewide network and provide financial support to our strategic partners, sponsoring veterans through existing programs or allowing them to expand their services.

Raising Awareness
Through various Challenge 22 events, PROJECT: VetRelief aims to raise awareness of the alarming statistic on veteran suicide. Whether it’s a ruck walk, educational seminar, or speaking engagement, there are numerous opportunities to highlight the importance of mental health within our veteran communities and the severity of Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS). These events serve to educate the public, foster community support, and promote understanding of the critical mental health issues faced by our veterans.
Upcoming Events
