This year, PROJECT: VetRelief (PVR) will offer multiple opportunities to learn about our impactful initiatives, celebrate program successes, and explore how you can get more involved in supporting veterans.
Enhanced PROJECT: VetRelief Training Returns
Back by popular demand, our enhanced PROJECT: VetRelief training is returning this year after an incredible response last fall!
Our team has updated the training materials to provide a comprehensive course covering:
- Importance of continued program support
- Eligibility requirements for financial assistance
- Suicide Prevention Strategic Partners’ role
- Ways to become a resource n your community
This session is open to all members of the Legion Family. Everyone is encouraged to participate and strengthen their impact.
Post Service Officer (PSO) Training Collaboration
Post Service Officers are also in for a treat! We’ve been invited to speak during the PSO training session, where we’ll provide a more in-depth overview of the eligibility requirements for our Emergency Assistance Program.
In previous years, we only had time for brief remarks, but this time, we’ll take a deeper dive. Pro tip: Attendees should pay close attention. This valuable information will come in handy later!
Networking & Suicide Prevention Roundtable
A special networking event will also take place, designed to connect attendees with Board Members and Suicide Prevention Strategic Partners.
This session will include a guided discussion on how we can work together to better serve veterans, and
will have a “Unity Event” highlighting the importance of collaboration and community.

The conference will also feature a Programs Fair, where you’ll have the opportunity to meet program
chairmen, collect valuable resources, and discover new ways to engage at your Post.
Our PVR Chairman and Committee will be available to answer questions and provide marketing materials for you to take home and share.
